Enumclaw + Black Diamond Tutors, a program of Village Tutors, Inc., is operated by Auburn Youth Resources.
The purpose of these programs is to help communities around the globe establish and run community-based tutoring programs that are free to all students
in all subjects.
With mounting pressure to teach more content to more students catering to a wider variety of learning styles with smaller budgets,
we have pushed our schools to the brink. We claim that education of our children is a priority — and we all agree that “It
Takes a Village” — but everyone seems to be waiting for that village to step up to the plate. In Enumclaw and Black Diamond,
Washington, our community understands that we are that village.
Free Tutoring for All Students in All Subjects
We are committed to supporting our school system in providing Equal Opportunity To Learn (EOTL) through
our own Drop-In Tutoring Center.
The Enumclaw + Black Diamond Tutoring (EBT) Program is completely community-supported, and free to all students. Enumclaw and Black Diamond are excited and proud to demonstrate
what small communities can accomplish in support of education and student learning. We aim to convey to other communities
around the world a successful model for making the EOTL a priority and a reality in the lives of students.
The EBT program represents a unique opportunity to make a powerful and positive difference in the lives of our
children, by actively helping to prepare them for the future through education.
